Mt Robert Tramp

PLEASE NOTE; - YOUR GEAR MUST BE SUITABLE FOR AN ALPINE TRAMP.  A PUFFER JACKET DOES NOT COUNT AS A WET WEATHER JACKET.  THIS SHOULD BE A WATERPROOF LAYER WITH A HOOD.  YOUR BACKPACK MUST BE STURDY ENOUGH TO CARRY YOUR SUPPLIES.  ALL GEAR WILL BE CHECKED ON THE MORNING OF DEPARTURE.  FOR SAFETY REASONS STUDENTS WITH INADEQUATE GEAR WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COME ON THE TRAMP

Gear
It is really important that the students have adequate clothing for the tramp and we have included a gear list to give them plenty of time to organise themselves.  We will not be taking students who do not have the correct gear.  It is also our expectation that all parents are well equipped.

Year 8 Formal

Dear Parents and caregivers,

The end of year is fast approaching and plans for the Year Eight’s end of year social are well underway. This event is scheduled for December 12th and is to be a semi formal dinner followed by a disco.

We are planning on having  a selection of salads, cold meats, savoury items and hot potatoes. We will be providing the desserts and drinks for the night but would really appreciate your offer of help for the other food items.

We are expecting around 34 students to attend so it would be great if you could provide enough food for 6 to 8 people.

Please indicate on the link below which items you are able to supply. It would be fantastic if you could ensure that there is even spread of names for each food type.

If you have any problems opening the link, queries or suggestions please feel free to contact me.  Many thanks for your ongoing support.
